Queens is the second most populous borough in New York City, after Brooklyn. It is the easternmost out of all the boroughs, as well as the largest in area. It shares the west end of Long Island with Brooklyn. Queens' boundries are the same as those of Queens County, making it the second most populous county in the United States.
